The project had to operate in conditions as low as -30°C, with working temperatures reaching 120°C and pressure levels up to 1.6 MPa. What flowed through the pipeline network was the warmth of thousands of households. Any leakage could have led to heating outages, emergency repairs, complaints, and even more serious consequences.
After thoroughly understanding the project requirements, operating conditions, and practical application needs, the Yaxing Valve team carried out repeated testing and ultimately chose a gate valve solution based on resilient seated sealing technology. With EPDM sealing surfaces, the product was able to maintain tight shut-off even under high temperature and high pressure.
More importantly, the design featured a full-bore structure, allowing water to flow smoothly with minimal resistance and reducing circulation pump energy consumption by about 10%. This figure came from actual operating feedback after more than 1,000 hours of continuous project operation.

With accurate field data in hand, Yaxing Valve’s technical team spent days conducting experiments and testing. On the basis of retaining the core safety structure, they redesigned the valve body structure and connection method. The customer later placed a direct order for hundreds of gate valves. After installation and commissioning, the valves fit the old pipeline network perfectly. They not only solved the leakage problem, but also improved pipeline transmission efficiency by 12%.
